Our Legislative Priorities
Codify Tribal Data Sovereignty
HB 2685 sponsored by Representative Lekanoff
Current Status: scheduled for a Executive Session on Monday, February 9 in Appropriations Committee at 10:30 am. This vote will decide if it passes out of committee.
Traditional Health Care Practices
HB 2555 sponsored by Representative Lekanoff
Current Status: It was heard this week in House Health Care and Wellness. It was referred to Appropriations and awaiting a public hearing; needs to pass out of Appropriations this week.
Transparency in State Savings on Federal Medicaid Matching Funds

Other Legislation We Support:
HB 2182 and SB 5917 – Improving access to abortion medications
Current Status: Both are still alive – HB 2185 needs to move out of Appropriations this week and SB 5917 has been referred to Rules.
SB 5981 and HB 2145 – Protecting patient access to discounted medications and health care services through Washington’s health care safety net by preventing manufacturer limitations on the 340B drug pricing program.
Current Statue: Both are still alive – SB 5981 is scheduled for Executive Session February 9 in Ways & Means and HB 2145 is scheduled for Executive Session same day in Appropriations. Both committees start at 10:30 am.
HB 2281 – Concerning the state and tribal government-to-government relationship.
Current Status: Still alive and scheduled for February 9 Executive Session in Capital Budget at 8:30 am.
HB 2242 and SB 5967 – Preserving access to preventive services by clarifying state authority and definitions.
Current Status: Both are still alive and have been referred to Rules Committee.
SB 5988 and HB 2437 – Establishing fee authority for accreditation services provided to opioid treatment programs
Current Status: Both are still alive: HB 2437 needs to pass out of Appropriations this week and SB 5988 is scheduled for Executive Session in Ways & Means on February 9 at 10:30 am.
