August 4 marked the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Centennial Accord providing a framework for that government-to-government relationship between the State of Washington and the Federally Recognized Tribe of Washington as well as those with ceded land in Washington State. The Centennial Accord implemented procedures to assure the execution of that relationship.

November 4, 1999, the Centennial Accord Millennial Agreement was signed

The Millennial Agreement provided a stronger foundation and process to strengthen state and Tribal Relations.
The Centennial Accord Meeting is the annual meeting between the Governor of Washington State and the Tribal Nations.
