Two Upcoming Summits:

Washington Summit for Mental Health and Opioid Use Disorder

Swedish Medical Center is excited to host a statewide summit to bring together agencies and programs that are providing services to women with mental health and substance use disorders as well as their infants and families.

This is a free CME event.

WHEN: Jan. 22-23, 2020, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to join us for a morning 5k walk on Jan. 26. Attendees and women/families are welcome to enjoy the beautiful Seattle outdoors.

WHERE: Swedish Education Conference Center, Cherry Hill campus, James Tower, 1600 E Jefferson, Seattle, WA 98122

WHO: Health care providers and administrators; counselors; members of behavioral health and opioid treatment programs (OTPs), hospital inpatient programs (CUPWs), residential treatment programs (PPW), the Department of Health (DOH), the Health Care Authority (HCA), behavioral health organizations (BHO) and accountable communities of health (ACH); and policy and women advocates.

WHAT: Engaging discussion on how to improve non-judgmental, trauma-responsive and patient-centered care for mothers, infants, families and communities affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
