American Indian/Alaska Native Maternal Mortality Prevention Institute Gathering

Registration is now open for the National Indian Health Board’s National AI/AN Maternal Mortality Prevention Institute. The two-day Institute will take place virtually from Monday, April 4th, 2022 to Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 from 1:00 – 5:30 PM Eastern. Registration is free of charge. 

Join us virtually via Zoom for the first maternal mortality prevention gathering of its kind in Indian Country. There has been an expressed need for conversations about AI/AN maternal mortality prevention, and this institute will gather those working in Tribal maternal health to elevate maternal mortality prevention work to a national audience. This institute will also highlight the work that is currently being done around Tribal-led Maternal Mortality Review Committees as a potential solution for maternal mortality.
